We looked around the hemp and cannabis space and saw a lot of brands, but very little soul. We missed the authenticity of the 1970s—the era of Dogtown skaters, nomadic van lifers, and the original counter-culture pioneers who paved the way for what we do today.
We wanted to capture that freedom. That sense that the summer never really has to end if you know where to look.
